Community Storehouse supported 2405 children, provided for up to 3 times per year and 962 families in 2008. This year we project that we will help over 3600 children, provided for 3 times a year and 1462 families. It takes help from our community to meet the needs of local children and their families that have experienced a crisis.
- Monetary Donations – we are in need of one time as well as monthly commitments.
- Donate items for resale: clothing, household items, furniture, China/Crystal, Accessories, Jewelry, Art/Framed Pictures, Formal Gowns, Electronics in good working condition (we are unable to accept: mattresses, paint products, car seats, fish tanks, or broken items).
- Memorial gifts - commemorate a loved one by donating money to the Community Storehouse in their name, in order to help others.
- Gift assets such as stocks, bonds or real estate to Community Storehouse.
- Planned gifts in Wills and bequests may provide substantial estate-tax savings.
- Donate new books for the Lending Library.
- Donate items for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners.
- Donate new toys for Holiday House.
- Donate non-perishable food items and toiletries to the food pantry.
- Donate new coats and mittens
