YOUTH TRAINING

What a good lesson to teach our children: it feels good to help others! We can even give your kids a tour of our facilities so they learn more about why we reach out to certain children and their families.

The Community Storehouse provides a safe and meaningful training ground for youth volunteers to gain leadership and job training skills. We operate with 80% volunteer staff. Over 200 active volunteers promote a sense of community in meeting the needs of our region. We “rebuild lives” for our clients but we also “build character” through our outstanding volunteer efforts and bring a sence of community and cooperation in caring for our neighbors in crisis.

Youth groups that participate include:
4-H Clubs
Boy Scouts
Brownies
Church Youth Groups
Eagle Scouts
Girl Scouts of America
Green Cord
Interact Club
National Charity League
National Honor Society Students
Special needs students from Keller ISD
Student Council

Encourage a school or youth group to volunteer.
